Boulia

We stayed here two nights. Before we headed out to the river we used the Laundromat, visited the supermarket, had coffee and cake at the local café.
A small town that seemed to have a bit of everything, hospital, post office, motels, caravan parks, a very new swimming pool complex, police station, service station which has available showers.
We made our way out to the Burke River which is behind the local race course.
This was a special place as one of our group travelling with us is Colleen Burke, a descendant of Burke, from Burke and Wills fame.
We found such a lovely spot we decided to stay two nights.

Had a great time finding photogenic trees. A very pretty place.

Not sure of the significance of this. It was very close to our camp.
