Wunara Store camp

Our first overnight camp on arriving in NT was at the Wunara Store Camp. Not a lot there but the old ruins of a shop and toilets and a bit of decoration around. A very comfortable night was had by all who camped there. Lots of vans came in with the same idea.
The interesting part of the stay was a Spanish backpacker coming in pushing his cart on a walk from Darwin to Sydney, very game. He needed water so I filled his bottle with drinking water from the fridge, then Jules filled another one and gave him a third so he would be right for a while. His plan is to do about 60 ks a day. He was looking very thin and I guess would be a lot thinner by the time he got to his destination. Can't remember his name because of his accent but did find out he was born in Elviria, Malaga, Costa de Sol. Which is where my Uncle Hilton lived for many years after WW2.
