Corrigin Dog Cemetary

What a great idea to set up a final resting place for our much loved dogs who are always a part of our family. I had read about this place but forgotten where it was until I saw the signpost leading me to stop and visit.
The lovely stone dog at the gate must be a replica of Strike who was the first and the reason the area was allocated for this purpose. I gave him a pat and asked him to look over all our little friends now gone, including my little Mindy who passed away at the age of 17 years some 5 years ago.
I estimated there to be about 200 - 250 dogs buried there, a lot of devoted owners.

This is Strike's grave. He was Paddy Wright's best mate.
