Frank Ewin Macklin RIP

Frank Ewin Macklin was an ex-serviceman who lost his wife and child in an airstrike in WW1.
He worked on local farms and the Canna Railway dams and retired here to live alone with only his dogs for company until he died in 1968 aged 85.
This is an area of free camping just outside Canna, I was able to work out how his life was in the area surrounding his home.
The first two photos are his home.

Mack's story

These would have been the graves of his dogs.

These next photos is his rubbish tip, lots of the old beer bottles and cans of all assorted sizes

This looks to have been his chook pens
