While biding my time at Hervey Bay decided to take a trip south to catch up with some friends. I started by spending a couple of nights at Eumundie Market. Just love the atmosphere there, spent all day wandering around even though it was heavy rain most of the day. It is an experience not to be missed just for the different food selections on their own.
Now they allow overnight stops in the car parking area for $15 a night, with a bright new building with showers and toilets. Also a BBQ area behind the building.
Now!! how is that for atmosphere. Some of the photos were taken the next day as it was raining on the day.
From there I moved on to Bribie Island where I stayed a night. Have been there many times before but it has been a long time. The views along both sides of the island are spectacular.
