Now in November - Now in South Australia

Only a few days in to November and I'm now down the bottom of Eyre Peninsula. Had a successful entry into SA going through quarantine all good. Asked about my honey but that was okay unless I went to Kangaroo Island. The quarantine to go into SA is actually at Ceduna whereas  the quarantine to enter WA is at the other end of the Nullarbor.
From there I went to the BP Service Station where I spent a couple of hours as they had everything I needed for the day. Morning Tea, Drinking Water, Dump Point, Fuel and a beautiful hot shower. And friendly staff, one who makes particularly good cappuccino .
From there I headed into town looking for Toyota, unfortunately they weren't able to fit the van in for a service for at least a week so had to give them a miss and since booked her into Pt Lincoln. I sat on the foreshore having lunch with a great view and lots of seagulls who were watching keenly at my fruit cake. Spent the rest of the day wandering around the town getting a good idea of the lay out items of interest.

The gulls who joined me for lunch.

The camp I stayed in overnight.

Found a great spot for an overnight camp just outside the town, less than 10 ks, heaps of room.
In the meantime I had been through the breath testing roadblock twice. They were actually drug testing. Did the breathing thing the first time and the lovely cop gave me directions to Toyota as I had been looking at that time. The second time was as I was leaving so didn't get tested again, just a warning I was going a bit fast, over 25ks an hr. Hadn't even realised as I was only crawling.
Smokey Bay. These Everlasting flowers were growing everywhere.

The next day I headed down the coast , first having lunch at Smokey Bay, a quiet little beach town with quite a few new houses. Must be anticipating some activity in the future.

I ended up for the night at Haslam where there is a great park right in the middle of town, stayed 2 nights as the weather turned a bit wet and cold. $5.00 a night donation. Not a lot there, a small fishing town with a few boats and tractors but looks like no one even lives there. Never saw another sole except for the 15 or 20 campers who where in the same park. Plenty of room in what I presume must be an old parking area as there is an old shed there and a pathway to the toilets and beach.

Plane I saw going overhead leaving a great vapour trail

This is cuttlefish, been dumped under the edge of shed.
